Our Story
About Us
Happy Headwork has two distinct arms, each operating as a separate legal entity with its own purpose and client base.
Happy Headwork Ltd (Company No. 16219804) specialises in supporting organisations across the caregiving sectors, as well as teams working in high-pressure, emotionally demanding environments. We design bespoke, needs-led programmes that address the specific challenges and relational dynamics within teams. Our work explores how stress, communication styles, unconscious drivers, and organisational culture impact team wellbeing and performance. Through psychologically-informed, practical approaches, we help teams strengthen connection, build resilience, and work more effectively together.
Happy Headwork Community CIC (Company No. 13677807) was created to benefitting the community, delivering accessible wellbeing programmes for the wider community. We work in partnership with third sector organisations to co-develop targeted, needs-based support, from in-person group sessions to online workshops and nature-based interventions. Our work is designed to reduce inequalities, improve emotional wellbeing, and empower communities.
Our Story
Happy Headwork was founded by Stephanie Hill (see Steph’s bio for more details) , whose personal and professional journey shaped the organisation’s values and approach. A survivor of the 2004 tsunami and later diagnosed with PTSD, Stephanie drew on her lived experience to develop a trauma-informed, compassionate framework for supporting wellbeing. Professionally, Stephanie has spent two decades working internationally with United Nations agencies, international non-governmental organisations, and within UK health and social care services. What began as a commitment to supporting staff in caregiving roles has since evolved into a broader model that supports emotional wellbeing across both professional and community settings.
Happy Headwork brings together a multi-disciplined team of experts committed to supporting organisations and individuals at all levels with increasing emotional wellbeing and resilience.
